It had been long enough since I last watched O’Connor’s The Accountant that I’d forgotten a lot of the action—enough to make this re-watch in 2025 pleasurable.
This is an expertly crafted film. There are tremendous payoffs for the attentive viewer, the cinematography is top-notch, and all the performances are stellar. I must say, I prefer 2016 Anna Kendrick to her latest iteration, but we all mature in strange ways.
I’m ready for the sequel.
